... are the words that Kelly Johnson kept thinking soon after arriving in Kenya. He and his family moved to Africa in late 1999 and during the first four years, served in the local church, assisted with orphanages and pre-schools, and helped many local church Pastors.

Preaching to over 12,000 Pastors and Church Leaders in conferences across East Africa, he was touched by the stories of numerous rural African Pastors who have little or no options for Bible training.

Some education is available in large cities, but is usually too expensive for the rural Pastors. 

In order to attend those schools, a Pastor is required to leave his home, his family, and his church, move to a city for a number of years, and go into deeply into debt.

"There's got to be a better way!!"

Kelly came up with an "out-of-the-building" idea that provides solid Bible training for Pastors, that is also portable, affordable, and expandable. At BLLC, we pack up the Bible College, and take it to the Pastors.

“It is estimated that there are 5 million Pastors around the world who have never had any ministerial training whatsoever.”

Our big, hairy, audacious goal is to plant a BLLC in 120 nations around the world! We don’t presume to be able to reach all 5 million untrained Pastors, but we are doing what we believe is our share; this is what God has challenged us to do.

That’s a pretty big challenge! And one of the ways we are going to do this is to expand the team. We are looking for people! If God has been talking to you about missions, we can help you! We have a tremendous ministry tool in BLLC, and we can give you all the training that you need to go to the nation of your choice, and start ministering.
